Territory And Municipal Services are proudly announcing that the BBC Natural History Film Unit is coming to Canberra to film in Namadgi National Park for a series called “How Life Works”.

“This ground-breaking natural history series will use the latest scientific discoveries to illustrate how, against the odds, Earth?s most crucial habitats – Jungles, Grasslands, Seasonal Forests, and Water Worlds, sustain themselves,” said Brett McNamara, Namadgi National Park Manager.

“The ecology based series will demonstrate the important inter-relationships between species and highlight how these interrelationships allow the ecosystem to function. Within Namadgi National Park they will be focussing on grasslands and the relationship between wild dogs and kangaroos.

“The film crew will have close access to their filming environment as they are staying at Ready Cut Cottage in Gudgenby Valley. Namadgi Rangers have been providing logistical support.

“Namadgi is one of only two sites being filmed in Australia, so we are privileged to host the internationally renowned BBC Natural History team in our local national park.

Yeah- I tell you- they’re nasty, nasty critters. If their razor teeth and scalpel-like claws don’t get you, their lack of hygiene will.

Dannybear, are you suggesting bunyip’s are… not real (shiver) or that they have really snappy fashion sense??

Anyone warned them about the Drop Bear plague ?

As if being attacked by a drop bear isn’t bad enough, but you are telling me that even if I survive I’ll catch the plague?
