This exciting news just in:
Centenary commissioned artist Jon Rose has recently taken up residence in Canberra, and is laying down the challenge to anyone who thinks they can build a musical bike, that they’ve got just under 2 months to do so if you’d like to take part in the Canberra Pursuit performance in this spectacular hangar (pictured above) located in the heart of our ‘other’ national capital attraction Fyshwick.
There’s a small amount of coin available to those able to turn dreams into reality in time for the performance on Friday 18 October from 6-9pm. To get the creative juices flowing check out Pursuit Instruments A selection Pursuit Instruments (bicycle powered instruments) and test rides in the hangar
If you just want to ride in the performance, that too can be arranged, provided you’re over 16, and happy to sign up (or have already signed up) to be an official Centenary volunteer.
If you don’t want to build or ride, that’s fine too. Put the date in your diary and come along for the show. There’s a few rumours flying around. Like my rumoured alter ego is rumoured to be riding an air raid bike and Barcham riding the Fibby bike.
