The Exiled on the Convoy of No Confidence

I never thought the day would dawn where an article in The Exiled (a publication I pay money to keep going, take note RiotACT fans) would bear on events here in Canberra.

But that day has dawned!

It’s a pretty good breakdown of just who is coming to Canberra on Monday and why.

And it is not pretty.

This is a laugh.

Wow, they sure showed me.

Slightly rhetorical question: do they understand that there’s quite a lot of people in Canberra who aren’t Julia Gillard who may be quite inconvenienced by their Convoy of Blown Out Of Proportion? How about next week we all go to their hometown and… nah fuck it, driving that far would produce a lot more CO2 and thus increase out impact on the environment and then we’d need a carbon ta….. oh, I get it.

The Exiled mob sound almost as looney as the mutters in the Caravan of Courage…

That’s no bloody good, the Kraken is a deep sea creature…

Maybe LBG is deeper than you think!

I think the funniest thing about this convoy of incompetents is that it probably won’t cause a fraction of the damage to Gillard’s government that the simple combination of an ex-union tosser, several hundred prostitutes, a mobile phone and a credit card can!

God really must have a great sense of humour……

On the other hand, nothing has yet topped the vicious threats made against people who were not even supporters of Pauline Hanson in the leadup to her address at the National Press Club in 1993, but were simply attending to listen to what she had to say and judge for themselves … it was far, far more feral and aggressive than a Tea Party/liberal confrontation I witnessed in the US last year.

I think you’ve got the year wrong there… nobody knew who Hanson was until 1996 when she got herself dis-endorsed as the liberal candidate for Oxley.

Thanks – yes it was 1997.

Honestly, no appreciation for the classics some people…

Below the thunders of the upper deep;
Far, far beneath in the abysmal sea,
His antient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep
The Kraken sleepeth: faintest sunlights flee
About his shadowy sides: above him swell
Huge sponges of millennial growth and height;
And far away into the sickly light,
From many a wondrous grot and secret cell
Unnumber’d and enormous polypi
Winnow with giant arms the slumbering green.
There hath he lain for ages and will lie
Battening upon huge seaworms in his sleep,
Until the latter fire shall heat the deep;
Then once by man and angels to be seen,
In roaring he shall rise and on the surface die.

Bloody good thing that The Exiled exposed the bias in the Murdoch press. There’s no editorial bias in that rag!

(it doesn’t it count if it’s from the left)

Yeah, it’s not exactly like watching the American armour rolling into Baghdad in 2003. A part of me can think only of fish and barrels when contemplating these people, and mockery is certainly an effective weapon when dealing with such buffoons.

For example Julie Coker-Godson (if that really is her name) believes that God Is On Their Side because he (she? it? whatever…) arranged for fine weather during the recent protest outside Parliament House. No Hubris there, of course. But I’m obviously glad to hear that the being that created and runs the entire universe is taking such a deep and simultaneous interest in Australian politics and the weather over the ACT.

But some aspects of this are Very Serious Indeed, and those aspects deserve serious discussion.

For example, the bloke who suggested starving us all into submission didn’t make me smile at all. Boofheads are one thing. People who threaten me and my family are another thing entirely.

Mrs Coker-Godson would also do well to remember that those who exhibit Hubris were inevitably visited by Nemises. Actually, I doubt that she would remember any of that, because she appears to be too dim to have ever heard of the concepts in the first place.

Sigh.

On the plus side the promised 10 000 vehicle convoy sounds like it will be lucky to hit a couple of hundred.

I think there will be a few hundred trucks and another few hundred smaller vee-hickles (judging from the Youtube) . That’s going to have quite an impact on the Parliamentary Triangle.

Thanks for the read, it provided a few giggles.

Seriously, I hope anyone who associates with these nutters have a good hard look at emselves, even if they are unhappy with the current situation.

We should get these freaks to meet up with the GetUp freaks and they can compare conspiracy stories.

It’s a good thing that the Illuminati/Bilderberg conspiracy nut didn’t join the main convoy, everyone knows that Canberra’s a reptoid town.

Spot on. I say we wait until they are in the ACT and then we release the reptoids.

“I do however believe that we have to inflict maximum pain across the entire country, not localise it in Canberra, I’m also against public confrontation, the ideal way to do this is to withdraw Product, Produce and Services, within three days the Government will have no choice but to cave in, and as you say we need to be unified.”

Jesus wept.

“Australian republicanism was a scheme by some shadowy organization to establish a World Government”

And what was the British Empire again? Oh but that had a Queen so that’s fine.

“Someone joked about New Zealand and Nova claimed that the Kiwis owed trillions in debt to Russia because of the Kyoto Protocol.”
“Janet claimed the feedlot complaints were a government plot to bankrupt her husband because he refused to believe in man-made global warming.”
“Ginger went on about the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, the Rothschild dynasty…”

These crack pots all sound familiar… that’s right, The Simpsons episode called “Grandpa Vs Sexual Inadequacy” where the kids were all trying to figure out where people had gone, leading Milhouse to conclude the following:

“The Rand Corporation, in conjunction with the saucer people. Under the supervision of the reverse vampires, are forcing our parents to go to bed early, in a fiendish plot to eliminate the meal of dinner. We’re through the looking glass here, people.”

Ouch, they are brutal. Teabaggers (just wait til someone explains to our wannabe Tea Party what a “teabagger” is…), mercenary orcs, and The Australian’s coverage termed “blowjobs”. Brilliant stuff, lively writing, I fear the targets of it will struggle with the fast pace of the ideas though.

“I asked if he really thought someone was trying to form a World Government.”

“What do you think the carbon tax is for?”

I have no words…

Yikes. Just yikes.
