The grass car...

Ari has spotted this beauty while dodging wasps at O’Connor shops.

I’m not a huge fan of fake lawns, but I certainly like the car!

That’s a clever way to advertise an artificial lawn supplies business.

… rooted, get it? Grass? Rooted?

Garn! Off to offal with you!

No way, that joke was your fault, I didn’t even think of it. You’ll have to be in the Offal Thread for double time for that one.

Wonder how many dogs or cats crap on it?!

Dogs would find it useful for eating on, too. I don’t know why dogs do taht, but any food you give them, they take it off to eat on teh grass. that can be a door mat, carpet, mat, bit of newspaper, but they can’t eat it on a hard surface.

Sigh. Et Tu? You know where you need to be. Granny’s already there. Off you go.

The car could putt-putt me to putt putt.

Might be funny to cut a hole in the bonnet and put in a flag from a golf course…

HAHA thats a classic

I might get my golf clubs and hop in teh back. The car could putt-putt me to putt putt.

lol i just wouldn’t commit a crime with that car lol.

Aerodynamic efficiency is pretty rooted on a ute anyway. Unless it’s a suit ute with a matching hard cover, and even then it’s still not the best.

Aerodynamic efficiency – low

That’ll mow right out.

If the engine gets hot on a long trip, the grass’d melt.

Shame he didn’t do the hub caps too.

it doesn’t have hubcaps… rekkun instead of alloys but, it should have fake timber panel wheels.

someone tell me, fake grass, um why?

its not a car….its a ute!!!

Con: even more dreadful fuel economy.
Pro: picnics on the bonnet.

Passenger side mirror is about as good as the headlight.

Shame he didn’t do the hub caps too.

The roos would riot if I put in fake grass. there’s a bunch of them on one of the lawns right now, munching away. They’ve even worked out how to navigate steps, to get to two of the lawns. I haven’t had to mow in ages.

I think we’re going to see more and more of it, particularly in the schools.

Reminds me of Cheech & Chong’s van that was made out of hash and blew green smoke out of the exhaust.

I wonder what colour they have declared on the rego?

“Install” grass?! Ah, those WorkBlokes.

It makes a funny sight alright.

As to fake grass though. Guy doing our paving this morning summed it up well: “I just tell clients it looks ugly and I’ll install real grass, a tank and a pump and still save you money.”

Hides the dings nicely.

Where’s the garden gnome?

You’d think if you could afford that much fake grass to cover your car, you could afford a replacement headlight. Maybe business isnt that good.

It needs a few broad leaf weeds with little yellow flowers, would go better than frangies.

I see no frangipani’s!!

fail! 😀
