ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the theft of a trailer and tools, stolen from Farrer overnight (Friday, May 25).
Between 9.30pm last night (Thursday, May 24) and 5am this morning, the trailer, a grey-coloured 1995 model, was stolen from a home in Farrer. The trailer had been hooked up to the car at the time of the theft and was locked.
About 6.30am the trailer was located in a car park at the Calwell Playing Fields, minus the tools. The locks on the trailer and the toolboxes inside had been forced open.
Approximately $35,000 worth of carpentry and building tools were stolen from the toolboxes.
Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in Farrer overnight or in Calwell this morning, or who may have information, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
