Canberra’s finest collection of foam warriors, The Hundred Swords, is calling for willing soldiers.

This is our public ‘coming out’, and we’ll be playing at Commonwealth Place. More specifically the new Patrick White Lawns (the old car park behind the National Library) and – maybe controversially – the ‘peace park’ memorial between the lawns and the lake.

Plant your banner in the enemy camp! This is going to be a very ‘public’ game.

Did you know the old car park behind the National Library is now a large green field? And just down from there is an area with two mini ‘forts’ with low earth walls? And opening to these mini forts which are nicely gate sized? The pics don’t really do it justice – but this is where we are playing. Right next to Lake at the end of Parkes Place.

I will be there, I plan to collect a few foam skulls for my foam belt.
