Jordan Prosser and Belconnen Theatre’s W.E.T. Season present an original play in one act by Jordan Prosser and Sam Burns-Warr.

Two young men, the last two human beings alive on earth, awake to the last day of their lives. For they have done the math, used up the power, run out of whiskey, water, Cheezels and Kit-Kats and would rather die, well-dressed, in an electrified bath tub than live on, locked in their hotel lobby sanctuary, with nothing else to talk about. Outside there is nothing but wasteland and the wave of bad karma that has desecrated the rest of the human race.
But Death has grown impatient, and what comes around, comes around again…

Emerging writer, director and performer Jordan Prosser is the recipient of the inaugural Radford College Drama Prize, granting him a week’s use of the Belconnen Theatre to produce a show as the finale of Belconnen’s 2007 Wave Edge Theory (WET) Season.

Jordan Prosser and Sam Burns-Warr have collaborated previously on a number of short films, plays and screenplays. Now based in Melbourne studying Film, the duo created The Landlords by combining portions of their pre-existing scripts and screenplays into an absurd comedy exploring the complexities of close-quarters living and the prospects of the future for humanity as a whole.
