I am currently having a disagreement with an associate and I’m going for the RiotAct Collective to settle it.
Our disagreement is about if The London is a cafe/mainly food restraunt or is a pub?
I think it is a food restauant with beer he thinks it’s a pub.
To bright and the main focus is on the food not the beer, which seems to be secondary to the burgers, there is no mention of pub/club or anything in the name.
I have never heard it called the London Pub before.
He says everyone he know calls it The London Pub. Also it’s owned by a licensee on a publicans licence.
Please discuss…
Here’s the background
I have a dinner group that goes to dinner in civic on Tuesdays where we choose a different restraunt each week (or the same one). The location is announced/discussed on the facebook group.
This week it was The London Burgers and Beer (cnr east row and London cct). I think when it was announced it was called Burgers and Beers on London. Wrong I know but everyone understood where it was. Though this person came in and was a jerk about the name and kept calling it The London Pub.
Tasty and cheap (off pay week/travelling overseas in a week and a bit) and willing to accomodate 7 people without a booking (and unexpected full table service) Win! It’s an awesome place for our group dinners! Service and food last night were excellent.
