2B have sent this in about their ongoing marketing survey:

…just one of the answers the Canberra Media and Brand Survey will show. We can tell you the current top 3 (not in order) are Supabarn, Canberra Milk and Canturf.

Of Canberra’s national sporting brands the Brumbies, Raiders and Capitals are the current front runners and it’s no surprise that Greater Western Sydney (GWS) is currently the least supported Canberra team.

Current survey results also show more Canberrans connecting with the internet from smart phones than any other device. Connecting to the internet with your fridge is currently by far the least popular device.

Early results also show you are more likely to read about local news or events through social media or online than you are to hear about them in person from another person.

The survey finishes this Friday and has been extremely popular with almost 500 Canberrans completing the 30 question survey. With a broad audience of 18 to 65+ year olds completing the survey, having very broad age groups will help ensure results show what the greater Canberra community thinks about our local brands and media.

Other results will include:

    – who do Canberran’s trust more, their federal or local politicians
    – where do Canberran’s get their information from and who do they trust
    – how much time do Canberrans spend online
    – which is Canberra favourite sporting brand
    – which is Canberra least favourite sporting brand
    – would Canberrans be willing to pay for online news
    – how Canberrans use social media and why
    – is ‘LOL’ the most popular acronym and is it used by all age groups not just the kids
