The Mully Cup is awarded monthly to the person who has stimulated the most ferocious debate on RiotACT in the last month.
It is, of course, a tribute to Justin Mully Williams who greatly enhanced Canberra in his departure while stimulating 481 comments on a single story.
The June Mully Cup went to Mark Parton who likes a glass of wine but doesn’t understand why anyone would like any other drugs.
The July Mully Cup was awarded to Ian Miller, the impacted nurse for his sharing of things found in rolls of fat.
And so with great fanfare allow me to congratulate Steve Doszpot who has trumped the election and the GDE bridge collapse by re-igniting the private school funding debate.
We’d hand over a trophy, but someone nicked it.
