Kopasetic (pictured) are a “roots-rhythm [band] straight outta CBR” who will be playing alongside other big acts Los Chavos, Zambezi Sounds and Agency Dub Collective for a big night of latin, ska, afro, funk, dub, folk and roots over at the Polish White Eagle Club this Friday night, starting from 7 pm.
On Wednesday Toni Childs brings her 30-year retrospect to the Canberra Theatre, while Fred Smith launches his new album “Warries” over at the Street Theatre from 7:30 pm. On Thursday, Moondog and Richard Perso will be playing at the Old Canberra Inn during the day, then over at The Basement alt-rock Brisbanites Selfish Sons will be playing with Dalmacia and Powder Blue from 8 pm.
Of course, Groovin The Moo will be on this weekend, running all day Sunday from 10 am at EPIC, featuring Billie Eilish, DMA’s, Haiku Hands, Regurgitator, Thelma Plum, Hilltop Hoods and much much more. For something a bit more low-key, head over to Smith’s for Family’s Third Party, featuring Tom Woodward, Beth Monzo, Bec Taylor and CJ Shaw from 4 pm.
