The Rudds move in

Kevin Rudd, his wife Therese Rein, their youngest son Marcus and the family dog and cat moved to Canberra during the week, making The Lodge their new family home.

Marcus will be attending Radford College which has produced many fine upstanding citizens (right, RiotACT admins?). However it would have been nice to have the Prime Minister give a vote of confidence to public education.

Anyone seen the Rudds out doing some Christmas shopping?

Back to the original question, yes I have seen Therese and her daughter shopping. They came in to the store I work at on the weekends on Sunday (a high end clothing store) and spent about $1200. They were also extremely nice the whole time. I think most of it was for their son, however I’m pretty sure 1 of the ties she bought was for big kev.
Big dave is an angry angry man, I can just picture him at home stewing about all these posts, while waiting for his dog to take a dump! Peace Dave.

….AND if Kevin 07 was a ‘true’ Labor man he would have sent mop-top Marcus to Queanbeyan High.

I wonder if mop-top Marcus will be bullied like Patrick Keating was at St Eddies? But I undertand, like his dad, Patrick was obnoxious.

So will master Rudd be taking buses to school or a com car ?

Big Dave, have you EVER said anything positive in your entire life? Merry Christmas.

“Think I might put a huge pile of dog shit on their doorstep and set fire to it…”

I think everyone knows Billy Madison would have been a liberal supporter.

I hope they have a truly miserable Xmas and they f**k off out of Canberra double quick. Bunch of toss pots.

Well, there’s rather a lot of schools between the Lodge and Radford, so no, Radford isn’t the nearest…

I think they might have waved the waiting list on that one.

Perhaps they wanted to spare the kid from sitting the HSC?

Personally, I think they should show that they support school choice by choosing whichever school is the best match for their child regardless of politics.

Yeah! And if you live in a wealthy area where the nearest school is a great private one then of course that’s where your kids would go!

hmmm…

How long before the cat takes a wander across Adelaide Avenue I wonder? Anyone have a description of the cat? First person to see said cat dead on Adelaide Avenue should get a prize. I do like cats, just a bit of fun. Poor little puddy tat.

What happened to the hype of Marcus attending Canberra Grammar- the closest private school to the lodge and also the most distinguished (perhaps not now?).
