lisa mosley and danniele post

Creative Canberran has noted that Lisa Mosley on WIN News last night didn’t appear to be entirely there, and sent in the above screenshot with this note:

Lisa Mosley in a “see through top”… the diet is obviously going well. Perhaps the budget cuts finally compelled them to replace human reporters with avatars?

Lisa Mosley is one of the better local and regional newsreaders I have seen in while. Expect good things.

Not seeing anything on a 10-bit high gamut IPS display that I didn’t see on a cheapo 6-bit+frc TN+Film display.

Perhaps someone can, you know, upload a version of the image with what they think is the flaw identified?

I’ll have another look later on the Macbook… this PC screen doesn’t show enough information to see what you guys are obviously able to see

i was looking on a macbook today and couldnt see it, but on my pc it is now as clear as day.

A lot of notebooks including some models of Macbook use 6-bit instead of 8-bit display panels. They use dithering to try and emulate the colour range of a true 8bit panel. That may explain the difference in how visible it is to people, including between your Macbook and PC.

It was actually the chromatic aberration around the edge of both reporters that caught my eye initially. If you look particularly on the left in the above image, there’s a noticeable black outline, she looks like a cardboard cut out. Chroma key software lets you soften or harden the edges of the foreground object, obviously they have it set to far toward the latter. Though curiously, the edge of the desk looks very dithered.

It’s actually the best chroma background I’ve seen for a long time, it does look a lot like the original wood grain physical set from the 90s, just the blending of the real life elements needs work. Particularly bad effort last night.

I really have no idea what I’m supposed to be looking at, even having read all the posts.

People claim real photos are ‘shopped on the internet all the time. I assume it’s the same phenomenon going on here.

Paging Mr. Gillespie.

I wouldn’t bother. I’m looking at the image on a calibrated graphics monitor and can barely see the chromakey fault.

I think it might be the Blue or Green screen behind them . They use this a lot as a false back drop instead of just a blank wall.

Ohhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! Now I see what you mean! The background is not what is on set. It’s a super made from a cromakey, and you can just see the top of the orange border in the background THROUGH Lisa Mostley’s darkly-clothed body.

Sorry, still fail to see anything untoward. Put it into Irfanview and doubled the image size and lightened it, and there’s a faint suggestion of an electronic carryover from the bright rim on the backrest but so faint I need to tilt my head a little to discern it, and that’s with the brightness notched well up, but I’m not seeing anything that convinces me it’s not a product of the lighting and camera’s electronics.

Perhaps a video of the apparent apparitional event could shed some much-needed light upon the veracity of this story?

Someone staring at her boobs too long to find that …. lol

Which one’s Lisa Mosely and who’s the other one?

I think someone needs to check her transparency config.

follow the line of the backrest boys….

Wow – now we just need some ‘news’ to go with the program.
