Just went to find the actual link to their website, and only one page makes mention that it’s at the Convention Centre..

If I go to the front page of an event site and it doesn’t tell me where the event is, I’m not going.

I’ve also got to laugh at the non-attendance.. who’d have thought! In Canberra! No way.

Apparently nobody showed up.

The organisers are all over the radio this arvo trying to justify the complete lack of interest.

The smug’s what’s important

But my fire tonight is off-setting a lot of smug

I went along for 2 hours and got a good bit out of it. Unfortuntately I couldn’t stay for the seminars so didn’t get to hear the main presentations.

I picked up a few goodies for around the house and made a few appointments for people to come around and look over the house to help me improve my water system.

Theres also a See.Change meeting happening at Wests Rugby soon where they’ll be presenting the opportunity to get a bulk discount on solar electricity collectors.

I’m also going to pick up some Timber-Crete pavers so I finally get around to paving the garden path, as cheap as bunnings plus I get that extra ingredient of smug.

Problem I have with these green expos is they use the unsustainable facilities they tell us to avoid and the faithful turn up to the show in the biggest 4 wheel drives around. I didn’t go because I was too busy installing my R5 batts.

I dunno – it sounds good to me. People pay that much to go to wedding expos, or craft expos etc.

If it’s not your thing then don’t go. I’m not into football or cars, but I don’t feel the need to constantly bag out people who are.

You would think someone who calls themselves a publicist would:

a) Know the correct URL of their client’s website
b) Would advertise the location of their event.

I hope she wasn’t charging for this.

We need to immediately ban all breathing and farting, as both release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
