December 6, 2004 is a day that we will never forget. A day that changed our lives forever.

In the early hours of the morning we lost two of our dearest friends to a horrific car accident. They were drink driving.

Two years later we decided to honour their memory the best way we knew how, a music festival. December 20, 2008 saw in the first ever Rock For RADD benefit concert, an event to raise awareness to the dangers of drink driving in our society, and raise funds for RADD.

What do you get when you combine a new name, a new charity and an over flowing bucket of talent? The Think Tank Music Festival.

This is an event to raise awareness to the dangers of drink driving in our society and to raise money to support the crusades of the National Brain Injury Foundation (NBIF).

The Think Thank is gonna be HUGE!
It will be held at the UC Refectory, in Canberra, on November 14. There will be 19 acts covering 2 stages with something for every musical taste. We have metal, punk, rock, pop and DJ’s. Doors open at 3.00pm.

DAYSEND is a progressive Australian Metal band fusing an array of musical genres to create a hard-edged yet melodic sound. The explosive five piece rocketed onto the scene at the beginning of 2003 boasting members of various high calibre local metal bands, all with the passion and determination to take their wares to a higher level.

LORD was born from the ashes of Dungeon, one of Australia’s most high profile and long-running heavy metal bands. Dungeon disbanded in late 2005. LORD hit the ground running in early 2006 and immediately embarked on a national headlining tour, going on to share the stage with Queensryche, Nightwish, Nevermore, Saxon, Gamma Ray, Leaves Eyes, original Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di’anno and more.

The precision filled musicianship does not falter during vigorous live performance & ensures all round satisfaction for the Frankenbok enthusiast or any first time listener.

THE VEEBEES will be taking the stage and supporting their latest release ‘Live at the Summernats’. If you haven’t seen these guys before you need to ask yourself what the hell you have been doing! Do yaself a favour, go check them out, buy em a beer or two and have a bloody good time!
