I notice in today’s Canberra Times that Fairfax Media is advertising for an Online Editor for The Canberra Times. In particular ‘a talented individual’ with ‘a good understanding of online media and a willingness to learn new skills for a multi media envioronment’.

Any tips from RiotACTers for prospective applicants?

The CT doesn’t have a website! It has a presence on a shared site, and it’s a very token presence at that. The Bungendore Mirror has a better site, and has its own domain name, too.

Good research.
You might also find that The ‘Times has already “…entered the 21st century” because, believe it or not they actually already have a website, presumably with an Online Editor.
