The Writings On the Wall.

A few weeks ago – you may all remember my story about the old homeless guy in the tunnel near Albert Hall Canberra.
I was describing his writings on the wall and someone requested I go back and take a photo.

Well to save the grief of JB and all the mods – I took said photos – composed a panorama (not even a good one) and uploaded it to my webspace.
The reason being you would not get the same detail from a 550pixel (RiotACT spec) wide panorama.

The picture is approx 4mg (56k warning) and best viewed full size for full res.

This is the link

Note that all the handwriting is of the same “hand” so to speak

[ED – Danman’s original tunnel photo and the back story are here]

Appears to have Christian symbolic content – lions (one saying ‘I was found’), a long-haired bloke in robes, rainbow, dove, noah and his ark . . .

Weird… I probably wouldn’t have read all that if the image hadn’t been posted, ta.

What’s with all the stuff about travelling art students?!

That particular “brand” of graffiti is all over canberra – i’ve seen it in Watson, Woden, Civic… I’m no handwriting expert, but there is a certain stylistic consistency that is hard to miss.

I always thought it was a fascinating (yet deeply sad) insight into a schizophrenic mind.

Danman, thanks for not trying to compress and send in the image to us.

1. Your dead right that there is no way the detail would have been able to to seen and

2. Unlike JB, I have absolutely no idea how to post images 😉
