There are no mates in Parliament House

RiotACT favourite, Hillary Penfold, is back in the news courtesy of ABC Online for banning the use of the word “Mate” by the security personnel at Parliament House.

Apparently the complainant was a senior Public Servant, so not even a resident of the building.

Thanks for playing but the correct response to such attacks on your own staff Hill contains “You and the horse your rose in on”. But it would seem arse-covering and brown-nosing is more important in some parts.

The Short Man is reportedly unimpressed by Hillary’s efforts in this regard, so I think we’ll be hearing a lot of “Mates” for a while.

Uh oh, bad song coming on again….
“Pillory Henfold lays an egg, doo dah, doo dah
Bangs her head and winds up dead, doo dah doo dah day…”

Erm, sorry if somebody just had a brain melt after reading that…

Pillory Henfold.

Millions of variations, one delicious punchline. It’s an oldy but a goody.

It’s better than calling them bastards.

and Bulldog… that used to be a joke aimed at Doug Anthony when I first heard it hehehe

Let’s all go to the hill and call everyone mate….walk around calling out to everyone “G’day mate”

WTF….. isn’t this country a democathingy… I can appreciate people not liking words such as f*ck, c*nt, m*fftard, – words which I use on a daily basis… but banning a word like mate.. it would certainly encourage me to get my gun if I had one and fire randomly…. no wonder you here so many stories of security guards going postal…

The fact that a ban on the word mate could be put on security guards in the first place is bloody scary. It’s comforting that there was such a backlash, but what if there hadn’t been a backlash? What if there’d been some other major event in the news that got everyone’s attention instead?

I usually don’t like using the word ‘un-Australian’, but that it surely what the person who ordered this ban is, and that person should be fuckin fired.

Well allow me to share it with you…

There’s a big argument in Parliament; everyone is yelling and screaming at each other, carrying on like a pack of schoolkids.

All of the sudden this tall bloke in an akubra and drizabone stands up and yells,
“Take is easy everyone, listen to me, I’m a country member”.

All goes quiet and from somewhere up the back someone mutters,
“Yeah, I remember”.

Off topix, but I’m sure you appreciate it all the more when you picture J-Ho telling big Kim he’s a member…

I’m beginning to question whether this fiasco is some sort of petty backlash against the security guards following their recent mumblings to the media about pay and conditions.

What a load of absolute shit. The Senior Public Servant should be reprimanded for wasting tax payer funded time on such a petty and wanky task as complaining. Then they should be kciked in the ass for being an uptight un-Australian f*cktard. Then they should have to answer to Ray Martin or Richard Carlton on National Television as to while they feel they are above the term ‘mate’. Then they should be demoted to Mail Room assistant.

Thumper, have you heard the joke about the country member?

Oh she was on the idiot box last night.

Matey, matey, mate, matily mate
Should we be alarmed and not alert that Hillary is undertaking un-Australian type activities that is threatening our way of life?

What an absolute disgrace – very un-Australian.

That senior public servant is a pin dick.
