Matt has sent in a photo (below) of an intriguing scene in Civic. Above is cropped for those with smaller displays.

Most studies show that you both need more fuel to use E10 for the same distance and less for premium.

I’ve heard that, but I haven’t seen any definitive studies. Can anyone point to one/some?

As for the car if the wheels are stolen they usually leave the car on bricks.. They’re much cheaper than the jack’s

I feel sorry for the owner. Once unleaded is dead and buried and replaced with E10, the owner will be stuck with having to use premium unleaded at 10c more per litre. The joys of owning an older Mazda.

I find i can go further on premium because of the higher fuel density!

So its much of a muchness about the 10cents a litre! Not really saving the planet using E10 unless your car is really designed for it!

Lube Mobile was working on that car…..probably took the wheels for new rubber and balancing.

Nothing to see here…..

Well that’s your story. I have it on good authority from a friend who knows Andrew Bolt that K Mart Auto have been selling these new fangled guaranteed car immobiliser kits. They’ve been flying out the door at a rate to rival exercise bikes and ab toners, and in a similar way, once the consumers have tried to get them to work, the inevitable result is that they are put away in the garage never to see the light of day.

Good on this owner for persevering I say.

Get a life
