This just in from our friends at the ABC:

    1. SkyWails – The medium and the message of Skywhale .

    2. Scoring One Hundred – As Canberra turns 100, so too does Eileen Pegrum.

    3. After Dark – stunning time lapse film of Canberra by Rowen Grant – doing the rounds of social media. Rowen is an ABC editor and edited all our stories this week.

    4. Looking at Lower – Max Cullen plays Lennie Lower for laughs.

    5. Beautiful at the Ballet – the Australian Ballet has come to town.

I thought that Graeme Morris was the dud in this interview. Obviously everyone has their opinion on it but his reasoning was very infantile. Apparently we should have had a big pair of lips to signify politicians talking. The Skywhale has taken attention away from the pollies for once and people are now perhaps a bit more curious about the nicer side of Canberra. Why would we want to focus on what Canberra has a bad rep for?

Tristan probably deserves a medal for bravery, and, maybe, gymnastics – the other guy didn’t seem to have his heart in it, but tried, nonetheless. Morris obviously had fun.

Gosh those marketing people they interviewed were embarrassing. Basically, taking risks pays off, big and getting noticed is all that matters regardless of how it’s received, and we have to capitalise and push Sky Whale even more now.

Did these people learn nothing from the deplorable “Where the bloody hell are you” campaign?
