ABC Online is reporting on what must have been a very disapointing day for someone in Ngunnawal who’s consignment of thousands of air rifles was intercepted by Customs.

Nearly 2,000 BB guns destined for Canberra have been seized by Customs officers who intercepted the shipment of illegal goods in Melbourne.

We had them as kids and nobody ever got hurt.

id hardly regard bb guns as dangerous weapons. what a beatup. for a laugh you should go to the customs website and look at the language used to describe certain seizures.

It’s amusing that these are completely legal (currently) in the UK and there’s a whole (albeit small) industry built around buying, selling and using them for paintball-style skirmish games.
