ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Ainslie early yesterday morning (Friday, July 15).
Around 12.30am, a 28-year-old man was walking along Ebden Street in Ainslie when a white sedan stopped beside him. Two men exited the vehicle, and approached the man, demanding he hand over his property.
The victim handed over his wallet and white Omega “Seamaster Aqua Terra Chronograph” watch to the two men, who then returned to their vehicle and drove away.
The male victim did not sustain any injuries during the aggravated robbery.
The first male is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 20-years-old, tall with a slim build and short blond hair. He was wearing a black jacket.
The second male is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 175cm (5’9”) tall with a muscular build, and was wearing a white sweater.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, or may be able to assist police with their investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
