It’s that time of year again, Jon Stanhope is calling for applications for arts grants.

Applications are invited for one-off project funding, program funding for not-for-profit organisations, funding for Key Arts organisations and two Creative Arts Fellowships valued at $45,000, for artists that have achieved excellence.

Funding is also available for Communities Working with Artists, a new grants category that was established last year to support one-off projects initiated by community groups that engage the help of professional artists.

There will be a one-hour information session at the Street Theatre on Wednesday May 4, starting at 6pm.

In my experience going along and schmoozing the fund admins is an excellent step.

UPDATE: The details for applying are now online Applications close Wednesday 8 June.
