This is pretty much how I get them, don’t ask me about the weird capitalisation

National Youth Week 2009 Grant Applications Are Now Open!

Youth Week 2009 runs from Saturday 28 March – Sunday 5 April 2009. The theme is Make A Move.

Small seeding grants are available to support organisations in developing and running Youth Week events. The Youth Coalition of the ACT will administer the National Youth Week 2009 Grants to fund events that celebrate and recognise the value of diverse young Canberrans, and give young people the opportunity to get involved in their communities. Specifically, these grants support events that are planned and organised by and for young people. Events can be anything from an open day, forum, competition, performance, expo, sporting event or more. Applications close 5pm Friday 16 January 2009.

There are also many other ways young people and youth services can get involved:

    1. Be involved in NYW Talent Competitions through design, photography, music, writing and film

    2. Nominate a young person (or yourself!) to join the Youth Committee, and be involved in organising NYW in the ACT.

    3. Contact us to be involved in NYW events such as the Youth Expo in Civic (performers, craft and services marketplace etc), 4-8pm Friday 27 March 2009.

To obtain an application form and guidelines, contact the ACT Youth Week Coordinator, Chanel Cole at the Youth Coalition of the ACT on 02 6247 3540 or email youthweek@youthcoalition.net

Surely they don’t need to pay young people to Make a Move. Wouldn’t they be more likely to need to pay us oldies?

don’t think you could go under the category of national youth, anymore, could you? and don’t call me shirley.

Surely they don’t need to pay young people to Make a Move. Wouldn’t they be more likely to need to pay us oldies?

The First Sentence Has Every Word Capitalised!

If they are going to do that, it should have at least 3 exclamation points.

What weird capitalisation? It all seems appropriate to me, they just happen to be dealing with a lot of different titles!

There’s the Youth Coalition Website – http://www.youthcoalition.net/index.html

The article is on the front page [but down a bit]and has links to the forms and stuff.

Is there a website available?
