Toddler badly burned by hot coffee

ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics have treated a two-year-old girl for burns to face, arms and chest following an accident at home involving a cup of hot coffee.

Intensive care paramedics stabilised the Palmerston child and are transporting her to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.

Time of Emergency Triple Zero (000) call 3.54pm.

The stuff of parenting nightmares… What an awful thing to happen. Hope the young girl isn’t too badly scarred in the long term.
