Canberra rockers Tonk, are this week celebrating the national launch of their debut album, ‘Sister Switchblade’, distributed through the Modern Music and Sony/BMG labels.

‘Sister Switchblade’ was recorded in various studios with renowned ARIA nominated Australian producer, Phil McKellar (Grinspoon, Silverchair, the Butterfly Effect and the Hoodoo Gurus, etc.)

The album was recorded live in the studio, to capture the no-holds barred mania of the band’s live shows. The album’s first single, ‘Redback’, gives a true indication of the sound and uncompromising attitude of the band.

The album is in stores from this week.
