Tree register a closed book?

Will all the trees at the aboretum be automatic entries in the tree register?

Cause geez that’s gonna take some time to write all their names down…..

They also allowed the removal of an old remnant yellow box grouping in Gungahlin, to make way for a liquor store (am I remembering that right?).

I”m guessing the tree register was
– too much work
– became a conflict of interests.

ACT Govt turned a blind eye three years ago when two of its employees illegally cut down a tree in their own back yard in the inner north – no response, no action despite a formal complaint.

Good on C le C for chasing this one up. If you care about trees, and if you believe the Tree Register is anything other than an instrument of bureacractic oppresssion and revenue raising, then this is truly appalling.

Waiting for the next installment, to prove they actually do care about trees.

ACT govt continually aims too high. They over-promise and can never deliver.

And they don’t know when to leave well enough alone (ie – Revolve was working well, so they messed it up.)

This tree register was never required. They should have just left it alone. I doubt it impressed anyone when they promised to create this tree register anyway.
