Joy Burch has announced a little something for the big hat brigade at this year’s Multicultural Festival:
Australian country music star Troy Cassar-Daley is set to wow crowds at the 2012 National Multicultural Festival during this year?s spectacular Indigenous Showcase, Minister for Multicultural Affairs Joy Burch revealed today.
Ms Burch said it was quite a coup to secure Cassar-Daley as part of the festival?s impressive line-up alongside headline act, former Australian Idol alumni Anthony Callea, and “Shaddup You Face? singer Joe Dolce.
“Troy Cassar-Daley?s unique brand of country music and lyrics has endeared him to the Australian community over the past 15 years of his stellar career,” Ms Burch said.
“In March, he will unveil his ninth album called Home. We are hoping he will play one of the songs from it which has already been released and is fast becoming a hit – “Country Is?.

Troy Cassar-Daley is performing on Sunday 12 February at the National Multicultural Festival (at 3pm as part of the Indigenous Showcase), not the Saturday as incorrectly stated in the earlier media release.
