TRUenergy trying a bit too hard?

Has anyone else received the marketing letter from Spiz Dimopoulos (Head of Marketing at TRUenergy) that includes a ‘free scratchie’?

Next time they try wooing Canberra with free scratchies, they might like to make sure that the scratchies they send are actually redeemable in the ACT — they managed to send us a NSW scratchie which, unsurprisingly, isn’t. It makes the whole ‘we are excited about coming to your neighbourhood’ nonsense seem like, well, nonsense.

Isn’t thowing out a lottery ticket bad luck?

I won $2 from mine, went straight into the canberra newsagency, then bought myself a drink. Works for me! And I know now not to answer the door too eagerly in the next few weeks cause there will be a money wasting energy company sales person there.

Prior warning and $2…

Double bonus!

Thumper swore! OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF

(Scuse the off topic, but has anyone else noticed that the crowd never bays for blood at Canberra stadium any more? Its taken something out of the whole experience – and anyone who tells me the cucumber sandwich eating Brumbies crowd is exciting is kidding themselves…)

and thanks to a string of obscenity through the night thomas%00 goes into the moderation queue.

New South Wales Lotteries scratchies are redeemable at just about every newsagent in Canberra. Actually I think there are more New South Wales Lotteries agents in Canberra than Tattersalls agents.

What I have seen is a decay in terms of honesty. John Boy is complete wanker. This sort of fence sitting is aa problem.

I got that. As soon as I saw TruEnergy or whatever on the envelope it went straight to the bin unopened.

So if you win sonething more than $10, drive to Queanbeyan.
