‘Ladies Night’ is coming to the Tuggeranong Arts Centre (TAC) comedy club with a bevvy of babes gracing the stage on Tuesday, September 7.
Last month, Smart Casual brought their quirky musical sibling-rivalry the TAC theatre and now Geraldine Hickey – a RAW Comedy national runner-up and Melbourne International Comedy Festival favourite – is set to continue the run of high-profile shows at Canberra’s newest comedy club.
Hickey, who placed top-ten on the Comedy Channel’s ‘Stand-up Australia’ and made regular national television and radio appearances, is described as a cheeky funstar with self-deprecating charm and a refreshing honesty in her outlook. She is the specialist of poker faced hilarity.
Hickey will be supported by a host of local and interstate performers. The line-up includes pocket-rocket Marie Helou; 2009 Hot-Five competition winner Edwina Nelson; the fabulous Georgie B; and the hilarious Miss Natski – a finalist in Sydney’s ‘Comedy on the Rox’.
With the glamorous Miss Pixie Darling (a.k.a. Canberra RAW Comedy winner – Johnno Davis) hosting, it’s set to be a night packed full of oestrogen-charged entertainment.
So leave the Sex in the City DVD on the shelf, wash you hair another night and get down the TAC comedy club for Ladies Night on September 7!
