Looking for some light entertainment on Election night (Saturday August 21)?
The Canberra Lake Tuggeranong Lions Club is holding its annual auction and dinner dance that night at the Vikings Club in Erindale, featuring acclaimed stand-up comedian Anh Do (as seen on Thank God You’re Here), and Annie and the Armadillos.
In keeping with tradition, the Lions Club is donating proceeds to a worthy cause. This year it’s the National Brain Injury Foundation, with the Club hoping to raise enough money for the Foundation to buy a specially-equipped vehicle to transport clients with special needs.
