Two people extricated from cars after two-vehicle crash in Weston

Two people have been extricated from their cars after a two-vehicle crash on the corner of Hindmarsh Drive and Brierly Street, Weston.

An ESA spokesperson said firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate a person from each vehicle.

Paramedics assessed five patients in total, two were treated on scene before being transported to the Canberra Hospital in stable conditions.

Hindmarsh Drive remains blocked at Brierly Street.

The scene has now been handed to ACT Policing.
