Two patients taken to hospital following car crash

Firefighters and intensive care paramedics have treated two female patients, aged in their 20’s following a single vehicle crash on Canberra Ave, Fyshwick.

ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Ambulance Service used hydraulic rescue tools to free the driver who was trapped and has been treated for a fractured leg.

The second patient was not trapped in the vehicle and was treated for minor injuries .

Both patients have been taken to The Canberra Hospital.
