2CC are reporting that two people were hit by a car on College Street in Belconnen around 6PM last night. The victims were reportedly in a critical condition overnight and are now in a serious condition. College Street was closed in both directions for about two hours.

Police do not appear to be treating the matter as suspicious.

I can’t find the news anywhere on the net at the moment, so no links.

If they’re UC o/s students they’re lucky they’re still alive, after the last one was found liquefied in the carpet of some apartment in Belco!

Two chinese students i read somewhere.

I read that they were chinese. was dimia involved ? there are some very dodgy types in that building.

Calvary and woden do different things. EG when I was taken to Calvary with a problem requiring emergency heart surgery, I was rushed to woden. Calvary doesn’t do a lot of “special things”.

ABC Online are now reporting that the people hit by the car were 17 & 24 year old UC students from China.

Apparently they are in Canberra Hospital, I thought I heard that yesterday but just assumed I had misheard as Calvary is just around the corner…so why take them halfway across town when they only had to go down the road?
