Unfinished work means small footpath

By Barcham 10 May 2013 5

Footpath

Rioter Miriam has noticed something amiss in our fair city, specifically this piece of unfinished work on the corner of Cooyong & Lonsdale St in Braddon.

Doing my Civic duty and publicising this dangerously thin bit of footpath. Bikes and pedestrians use this a fair bit and there has been no work done on this hole for at least three months.

As someone who rides a lot in this area, this bit does annoy the hell out of me on occasion.

Barcham, how do you cope with the many onroad bike paths that simply vanish after a few hundred metres?

Poorly, but my coping mechanisms for most situations are quite poor, I don’t know how I make it through most days.

I’m prepared to accept that you’re being quite genuine Barcho so if it’s any consolation you have my sympathy and i’ll pray for you which is quite awkward for an agnostic atheist 🙂

Yes it sucks, but to the left just out of shot is a giant expanse of concrete to walk/bike through, which everyone I observed was using just fine while they sort this mess out.
