The Canberra Vikings showed they were far more fleet, as they ran around the pitiful Sydney Fleet in this afternoon’s ARC game at Canberra Stadium. It was a rampaging 8 tries to 4 demolition, resulting in a 56 – 29 full time score. Highlights of the game included a hattrick of tries to Frankie, and the tries to Big Al and Ugly John (as we all know tries to the forwards should be worth double). Lowlights of the game include letting the Fleet in for a bonus points try, and the paltry 2,017 people who turned up to watch the game (come on Canberra, you can do better than that!). This win puts the Vikings back towards the top, in second position on the ARC ladder. So I hope to see everyone out at Manuka Oval next Sunday for the Vikings last home game of the season (excluding finals) to make some noise for our guys.
