Vintage or second hand clothing stores in Canberra?

I did a search for my question but was unable to find an answer. I need a dress to wear to a gathering my brother is holding, now my brother is rather fancy and my converse chuck Taylor’s are unwelcome.

I need a dress and some shoes i am more comfortable in older styles of clothing, as i find modern clothes want me to show a bit more skin than i would rather show.

So i am looking for a good and reasonably priced vintage or second hand clothing store in Canberra if anyone is able to help please reply 🙂 thank you

+1 for Darling Sisters at Gold Creek.

I collect vintage clothing. My spare room is full of it! I have a trillion dresses…. What size and colour are you after?

Any of the charity shops.

Gee, you should have gone to Kippax this morning, someone had dumped 20 so of big plastic bags of clothing (plus other junk) at the recycle bins. You wouldn’t need to done clothes shopping for a year.

Not sure how you would have got on trying the clothes out in the car park 🙂

I remember liking that one. And I hate clothes shopping with a passion. But I only went there once years ago.

Down memory lane – little funky shop in Fyshwick amongst all the junk and timber yards.

There’s a vintage clothing shop at Pialligo Plant Farm of all places – not sure how vintage though.
You can buy vintage on line from places like beautvintage.com – they deliver pretty quickly if you want them to.

Darling Sisters at Gold Creek.

Have a look in Cowboys and Angels in Garema Place
They are in the same shop as Landspeed records – head to the back of the shop for the vintage cloths area.
