Canberra’s Hancock Basement are trying to scam their way onto another festival stage. This time it’s Splendour In The Grass up at Byron Bay from 25-27 July.

The bonus is you can also win tickets for yourself along the way, if you vote with sufficient tenacity.

The band have started a Facebook group with all the detail you need.

So, if you’re a bored office worker with nothing better to do why not give the lads a kick along?

I tried to register to vote but my work has blocked basically everything related anything and I can’t do it. 🙁

Gotta say, I’m disappointed Sallyjones didn’t get back to us here on that one.

Interesting to note Sallyjones, thanks for keeping us in the loop. What else do you apply “Will not support. Sorry.” to?

I’m anxious with anticipation. Write back soon!

Sorry, grammar nazi mode is in full swing this afternoon. Should it not be their way, not there way.

I’m always willing to support local talent in making it onto the national stage (as long as that stage is not linked to banal mediocrity like Australian Idol). Hope they get op to SOG.
