Mrshmellowman sent in this one with the following note:

Over the weekend a light pole in the Civic bus interchange was badly bent.

Instead of repairing it the Government fenced off the area of probable impact

“I think she’ll fall about here Jonno!”

I wouldnt be surprised if it was.

The light pole is straight, the rest of the world is bent……………

Must be new artwork!

It’s been that way since at least Wednesday last week, they didn’t fence it off until Friday.

I was trying to figure out how it managed to get bent, the bend is right at the bottom of the pole, where if a vehicle ran into it would show signs of impact higher on the pole.

I thought it may have been the contractors who are putting up the new CCTV cameras stuffing up and not removing it properly.

It’s been bent longer than that. I personally walked on the un-fenced pavement under the drop zone on my way to/from lunch several times last week.
