Yep, one of the hightest concentrations of mullets and herpes outside the Charnie Tavern. Those houses would benefit immensely from a nice coat of fire.

Well this explains the various fire engines/vehicles with lights blazing that I encountered in the area at around that time.

Riddell crt is where police shot dead a guy was last year.I,m pretty sure most of Wanniassa’s white Commodores are from that Street.

I saw this unfold, and the highlight was the bogan next door standing on a structure adjacent to the blazing garage (in shorts and a t-shirt) with a garden hose spraying a pathetic dribble of water on the metal roof of the engulfed garage (which probably would have boiled off as soon as touched it given the ferocity of the fire).

He was then asked by a firefighter (wearing Nomex suit, full PPE and respirator) to leave immediately, to which the bogan responded “I know what I am fcking doing” and “what, you think because you’re wearing all that gear you’re going to do a better job”

He changed his tune when the police arrived.
