jwl508, nice photos, mate.

If a man wants credit for his work that seems fair enough.

why ruin a good photo with the copyright shit on it

Also a cool dump-and-burn at Skyfire last night, then a spectacular fireworks display. First class.

Sammy – its more an example of the dangers of batch processing images when sleep deprived.

I’ve fixed up the images now and have sent them through to John to repost them. I have also updated my blog (http://michael.rwts.com.au) with the new images.

Bring back film.

My apologies to all. I actually used the wrong compression alogrithm when I saved them for the web & blog (to keep the file size down). I didn’t realise until they were posted. I’m in the process of fixing them up now. They were taken with a Pentax *istD & a 200 mm telephoto lens.

Michael, did you take your photos with a camera phone?

The photos by Michael West look sh*t-house, in terms of quality. I wouldn’t have gone to the trouble of putting my name allover them.

That Merlin engine … goosebumps inc.

I was standing on the top of Mount Ainslie and took a heap of photos. Some of the best ones can be found on my blog at http://michael.rwts.com.au.

I hope you enjoy!

I hear over the loudspeakers that the wirraways and p-51 mustangs were not flying today for some reason…pity…I like the rumble of the mustang

was a great day though…..

Well, I forgot my hat – which was a very dumb thing to do!

… actually it doesn’t, I just checked the mirror and there’s certainly some sunburn happening.

Sunscreen and big floppy hat … daggy as hell, but it works.

Yeah, I was a bit confused by that as well, and the only way I worked it out was by the markings on the aircraft.

Did you get sunburnt? I piled on heaps of sunscreen, but still got a bit red!

Thanks, Evil, it’s a bit hard to tell from underneath … and they were billed as Wirraways in the promos.

Great photos, Ari.

The three Wirraways are in fact North American Harvards – which is a close relative of the Wirraway. They were both developed from the same North American aircraft.
