Territory and Municipal Services advise they’re coming for the bunnies of Mount Painter with the poison gas.
Mr Iglesias said the program will involve a combination of removing and fumigating rabbit warrens.
“Fumigation of warrens is considered one of the most target specific means of control available and has been effective in use across other sites in the ACT.
“Control work does not pose a risk to public safety, however visitors to these areas should keep their dogs on a leash at all times. Signs will be erected to alert people to the control work.”
