Hmm.. Someone I know recently commented along the lines of “it’s not that Rudd makes people work ridiculously hard, it more that he makes them work ridiculously hard for no reason”.

Just wondering if it is correct to describe the possibility (!) of Abbott being our next PM as double-plus bulk totes Abbott?

Or is that like googling google, which, as we all know, causes computers to explode.

What cynicism. If the last few days have shown us anything, it’s that Kevin is a statesman of integrity. We are indeed fortunate that the great man has again risen to the top in the contest of ideas that is our federal parliament

Labor have already cut 7000 jobs from the PS over the past few years. I wonder if Kev can cut another 5000 before the election, then Tony won’t have to cut any!

I gave my $900 to Oxfam (Or was it 800 – didn’t Saint Bob get it reduced a little?) I did claim it as a tax deduction the following July and spent the rebate.

I wouldn’t worry about it – Rudd’s decided to make illegal immigration his “point of difference”. What a moron. I don’t know who the ALP have advising them, but that they have nobody to explain to Rudd that illegal immigration is the one big, huge clusterfok that he should really be being really, really quiet about.

I’m afraid Rudd’s choice of topic to talk about has just guarranteed the ALP an election loss. Bye bye Rudd.

I don’t really have a comment about oxfam specifically (although it’s one of the charities that use them), but money donated through chuggers is certainly not money well spent.

given past experience why would this amaze you? vote buying prior to elections is, so far as i can tell, a time honoured tradition. seems a bit “amazing” that you would be amazed at people expecting rudd to behave as he and a very, very long line of politicians have behaved up to now. i’d be amazed if he didn’t throw cash around.
