Water Testing

I am thinking getting some water from a small creek tested for quality, to see what contamination may be in it (as it’s possible that there may be pollutants leaching into it upstream), and to review its suitability for stock.

Any suggestions as to the best way to arrange a test?

Name the creek and let teh interwebz vote blindly.

to make a good stock, boil a chicken carcass for an hour with a chopped onion, a chopped carrot, a bay leaf and some seasoning, then strain and simmer for another twenty minutes, skimming off the fat…

dunno if creek water would cut it, i’d have that tested…

Cheap option;

Drink it for a month or so, then when you get sick, have your doctor run some tests. Paid for by medicare, and should identify and contaminants.

ALS in Fyshwick (formerly Ecowise Environmental) will do your water testing. Lithgow street.
