The ghost in the shell that is the memory of Chief Minister Stanhope continues to haunt the CM’s website.

Sometimes he returns in full. Sometimes it is in part.

But today, strangest and eeriest of all, we have a segment of Jon Stanhope sticking out of Katy Gallagher’s forehead. (Happy to sign a stat dec that these are clean screenshots).

This seems to be a bizarrely crap way to run a website.

But it is, apparently, endlessly amusing.

Stanhope has become Stephen King’s ‘Lawn Mower Man’ and is stuck in the CMD computer mainframe. He is p!ssed at Katy and will mark the start of his mini-Apocalypse by putting a picture of an ‘owl’ on the screen of every ACTGS computer at the same time.

You have been warned. The end is nigh …

Like a ghost it comes and goes.

My theory is they’ve got some archaic load balancing system (not to mention an ancient kludge of segmented images) and one server in the pool has not been updated.

It could be a cache issue as it doesn’t appear to happen on my browser. Perhaps a Ctrl+F5?
