A 40-year-old man and 24-year-old-man will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with a series of aggravated robberies and property damages dating back to November 2010.
A major investigation into these offences began late last year. Police will allege that the two men committed a series of aggravated robberies of The Weston Club between November 2010 and February this year. It is alleged that during each of the aggravated robberies, a sum of cash was stolen and a large amount of property damaged.
Police will also allege that the two men targeted pay parking machines at Westfield Belconnen on three separate occasions in January and February this year, resulting in the theft of cash and a large amount of property damage.
The two men have each been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery, two of theft, and three of damage to property.
