Wheelchair stolen in Dunlop

Hi all,

Long time lurker, wish I was making a first post in better circumstances.

My sons wheelchair was stolen from the boot of our car overnight, and I’m hoping someone may have seen it or have some information which will lead to it’s return. We live in Dunlop, very close to the walking/bike tracks, and I’m hoping it may have just had a ‘shopping trolley’ experience before being left somewhere. So if anyone spots an abandoned wheelchair on their travels around Dunlop and surrounds, please give us a yell!!

Have notified the Police, but I understand that there’s very little they can do apart from stumble across it.

Cheers

Was it a specialised chair. There is a wheelchair outside the seating area of Kingley’s Chicken in Belconnen tonight. (The roundabout side, just passed the doors of Kingleys, not in the carpark sitting on the footpath)

Hiya…yep, that was the one. Police contacted us and we got it back!

Happy Days!

Did you tell the police? Could have been a while before the Dunlop folks saw your post …
