When does $230,000 = $249,950?

Here is a copy of some real estate leaflets – notice the (differing) prices between the two.

These leaflets are a little bit old now, but I thought I should share with the RiotACT community (long time reader, first time poster – all that Jazz).

I received the leaflet on the right in my mailbox on a friday afternoon. I thought to myself “$230k isn’t bad for a 1BR in this neighbourhood” and decided to drop in on the Saturday to take a look. Imagine my suprise when I saw a pile of the leaflet of the left provided for interested parties upon inspection. There is a price difference of $19,950 – certainly not a trivial amount!

When questioning the agent, he apologised and mentioned that it must have been a mistake.

Has anyone else got some “unusual” real estate tales to tell?
