Senior Liberals (Alistair Coe and Zed Seselja in particular) are furiously tweeting at us that the Canberra Times’ feature ratepayer Joshua Ceramidas just happens to be the editor of ACT Labor’s Lobby magazine.

A complete coincidence we have no doubt.

Stop laughing at the back there.

No OK, let’s all have a good laugh.

Some screenshots just in case.

I reckon if body parts start appearing in the sewers around New Acton, we’ll all know who did it!

Creepy……..

The White Stripes: The Early Years.

Tell me I’m wrong.

They both look like they could do with a bit of sunshine and/or a good s***.

Definitely the latter. They are looking away from each other with that expression of deep pondering that says, “Did she fart? Does she know that I farted? Can I get away with silence on this?”

Bloody hipsters….

I fear it may be more sinister – they look like Ruskie deep cover agents!!

I may have watched too many episodes of The Americans…

To me there is something almost nineteenth (or even late eighteenth) century about Joshua’s hair and pose, a little like this, but not quite:

He’d make a lovely miniature.

Perhaps RiotACT should do a series on Featured Ratepayers, aka People, posed in the style of their favourite century.

With the addition of a scarf, she could be Whistler’s Mother…

Are they a married couple or creepy siblings? :O

Yeah I know according to this website hipsters are a figment of our imagination but he screams hipster douchebag.

Katie has very beautiful, shiny, healthy looking hair, the other chick, not so.

Firstly; good grief what a weird looking pair. Like something out of the Addams Family.

But more to the point, this isn’t surprising. CT may say it wasn’t disclosed, but I’d be more interested in how they got this person’s name; friend of a friend, a link in a Labor media release?

When you Google search the names of a lot of people featured in stories, it’s amazing how often you see they’re not just Joe Six Pack from the suburbs but have some stake in the issue that isn’t disclosed.

On an aside, you have to forgive the CT these days. In my experience, they have very little to work with and push stuff out without the proper processes and quality control.

Did they buy an apartment or a wooden shed?

Bloody hipsters….

I think young Joshua, deserves to pay more rates for sporting that haircut and what looks suspiciously like a fully buttoned shirt.

Good to see that the Times has its finger firmly planted on the pulse…….. – although, in a vast, diverse, dynamic metropolis such as Canberra, where incestuous connections are absolutely unheard of, they could be forgiven for not looking more closely.

I think the best that can be hoped for by those of us who are not property speculators or house-hoppers is that changes to federal taxation and funding arrangements for the States and Territories will go a long way towards dealing with the revenue problem before the full horror of Mr Barr’s “reforms” take effect.

A clarification has now been added to the story:

Clarification: It has subsequently been brought to our attention that Mr Ceramidas is active within the ALP and edits a party journal. This was not disclosed to canberratimes.com.au when the article was published.
