Stateline has a new host whilst Kathleen Hyland is on maternity leave.

Philip Williams has returned from a long stint as a foreign correspondent for the ABC. He has covered the Tsunami, East Timor, the massacre at Beslan, the Madrid bombings and the September 11 attacks in New York. He is hoping for a gentler time while at Stateline. This week he reports on the skills shortage in the ACT.

Can’t get a plumber? builder? doctor? Things are crook and apparently getting worse. 7.30 Friday ABC TV.

That skills shortage works out well for us who WANT to get work here 😀

Nice promo, Pat.
Call me rabid, but I’m hoping that Phil dishes out a few well-deserved maulings during his stint…
BTW, can you organise a repeat of the show each week (maybe there is one, don’t know when though).
